Air Injection Check Valve: Description and Operation

Air Check Valve Operation

The check valves are located on the air injection tube assemblies. The injection tubes lead to the catalyst injection points. The check valve has a
one way diaphragm which prevents hot exhaust gasses from backing up into the hose and pump. The check valves will protect the system in the
event of air pump failure, hose rupture, or excessive exhaust system backpressure.
