Starter Motor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
Starter Connector Remove/Install - V-6/V-8 Engine
Starter Remove/Install - V-10 Engine
3. Remove the nuts from the terminal studs for the starter battery and solenoid wire harness connectors.
Starter Mounting Hardware Remove/Install - V-6/V-8 Engine
4. Remove the hardware that secures the starter to the bellhousing.
