Bell Housing: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Raise and. support vehicle.
2. Remove transmission and transfer case, if equipped.
3. Remove the starter from the clutch housing.
4. Remove the clutch housing dust shield from the clutch housing.

5. Remove clutch housing bolts and remove housing from engine (Fig. 31) and (Fig. 32).
INSTALLATION
1. Clean housing mounting surface of engine block with wax and grease remover.
