Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel: Service and Repair
Door Trim Panel
SLIDING CARGO DOOR TRIM PANEL REMOVAL
1. Remove the screws and the door pull handle.
2. Use a trim removal tool and carefully pry the trim panel away from the door inner panel. Remove the trim panel from the door.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the trim panel on the door inner panel and press inward around the edge of the panel.
2. Position the door pull handle on the trim panel with the screw holes aligned.
3. Install the pull handle screws and tighten to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.) torque.
Latch Access Cover & Inside Handle
SLIDING CARGO DOOR LATCH ACCESS COVER REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the inside handle.
3. Remove the lock knob and grommet from the knob latch rod.
4. Remove the latch cover screws from the door panel.
5. Remove the cover from the door panel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the latch cover on the door panel with the knob latch rod and the outside handle shaft inserted in the cover holes.
2. Install the cover screws in the door panel. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) torque.
3. Install the inside handle.
4. Install the knob and grommet on the knob latch rod.
5. Install the inside trim panel.
