RAM 2500 Van V6-239 3.9L Magnum (1995)
This bulletin involves replacing the seat cushion assembly with a reinforced cushion assembly.
1.
Remove the seat from seat riser by removing the 4 attaching nuts.
2.
To separate the seat back assembly from the seat cushion assembly perform the following steps.
MANUAL SEATS:

From bottom of cushion1 remove the hog rings which attach cushion trim cover welt to cushion suspension. Figure 2 (bottom of cushion
showing hog rings.)

Remove left side recliner cover.
^
Remove "J" retainers of trim cover from cushion frame. Figure 2
^
Release zipper shown in figure 2.
^
Pull cushion trim cover up on the right side to expose 2 seat back recliner mounts to cushion frame. Left side has a pivot bushing and will slide
off.
^
Remove 2 seat back recliner mount bolts.
^
Separate back assembly from cushion assembly.
^
Install new cushion assembly.
ELECTRIC SEATS:

From bottom of cushion, remove the hog rings which attach cushion trim cover welt to cushion suspension. Figure 2 (bottom of cushion
showing hog rings.)

Remove left side recliner cover.
^
Remove "J" retainers of trim cover from cushion frame. Figure 2
^
Release zipper shown in figure 2.
^
Remove two bolts holding right side seat track to frame. This will allow access to the two Philip screws holding the electric seat switch to the
frame.
^
Pull cushion trim cover up on the right side to expose 2 seat back recliner mounts to cushion frame. Left side has a pivot bushing and will slide
off.
^
Remove 2 seat back recliner mount bolts.
^
Separate back assembly from cushion assembly.
