Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove fan shroud retainer bolts and position shroud back over engine.
2. Remove fan, then the serpentine belt as outlined under "Serpentine Drive Belt."
3. Remove vibration damper pulley from damper.
4. Remove damper bolt and washer from crankshaft end, then install suitable pulley/damper remover.
5. Remove damper from crankshaft.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Use a suitable tool to draw damper onto crankshaft end.
b. Torque damper bolt to specifications.
c. Torque damper pulley bolts to specifications.
