Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Raise the door window to its full up position.
2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Front Door Trim Panel Remove/Install
3. Remove the inside remote door latch handle.
4. Remove the armrest and bezel.
5. Remove the power window and lock switches as described.
6. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide, flat-bladed tool, gently pry the trim panel away from the door around the perimeter to release the snap
clip retainers.
7. Unplug the wire harness connector from the trim panel mounted courtesy lamp, if equipped.
8. Remove the door watershield.
9. Lower the door glass.
10. Remove the screw that secures the front glass run to the inner door panel.
11. Unplug the wire harness connector from the power window motor.
Power Window Regulator Remove/Install
12. Remove the three screws that secure the regulator to the inner door panel.
