Recirculation Air Door Actuator Replacement

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. If equipped with air conditioning, recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system.
3. Remove the filter-drier and bracket, if equipped.
4. Note the color and orientation of the vacuum harness connectors at the actuator for correct reinstallation. Unplug the vacuum harness connectors
from the actuator.
5. Remove the screws that secure the actuator to the recirculation unit housing.
6. Disconnect the retaining clip from the recirculation air door crank arm.
7. Remove the actuator.
8. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
9. If equipped with air conditioning, evacuate and charge the refrigerant system.
