Fuel Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
WARNING: Natural gas must first be purged from system before removal.
1. Remove engine cover.
2. Purge fuel system.

3. Disconnect electrical connector at sensor.
4. Remove sensor from fuel rail. Use a back up wrench on fuel rail hex to prevent damage to fuel rail.
INSTALLATION
1. Apply a small amount of anaerobic thread sealant to the pipe threads of the sensor only. Be extremely careful not to get any of thread sealant into
any fuel system opening. Use only an anaerobic thread sealant containing Teflon.
2. Install sensor to fuel rail. Tighten sensor to 7 N.m (65 in. lbs.) torque.
3. Connect electrical connector.
4. Check sensor for gas leaks.
5. Install engine cover.
