FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL

NOTE:  The door weatherstrip is attached to the door inner panel with retainers (Fig. 5) that are inserted into the panel holes.

1. Starting at lower end, separate weatherstrip from holes in door inner panel.
2. Continue around perimeter of weatherstrip to separate retainers from holes in door inner panel.
3. Separate weatherstrip from door.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the weatherstrip on door.
2. Starting at upper corner of door, move forward and downward around perimeter of door and insert weatherstrip retainers in panel holes.

NOTE:  Weatherstrip positioning at the corners is critical. The weatherstrip must be firmly seated at each corner. Avoid stretching the
weatherstrip at the corners.

3. When correctly installed, the weatherstrip ends will meet at the door lower centerline.
