Vacuum Check Valve HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cover from the passenger compartment.
Vacuum Check Valve
2. Look between the upper dash panel engine housing extension and the bottom of the instrument panel to locate the vacuum check valve, which is
installed in the housing half of the vacuum harness which is secured near the left defroster outlet on the distribution duct.
3. Note the orientation of the check valve in the vacuum supply line for correct reinstallation.
4. Unplug the vacuum check valve from the connectors in the vacuum harness.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
