Inspect the plastic quiet mat door catch on the bottom track (Figure 2). If the mat is missing or damaged, perform the following "QUIET MAT DOOR
CATCH REPLACEMENT" Repair Procedure and then "ADJUST SLIDING DOOR - MINOR ADJUSTMENT" Repair Procedure.

Verify that the character lines of the sliding door to the body at the B-pillar and at the C-pillar align properly. If the sliding door is not aligned properly
to the body, perform the following "ADJUST SLIDING DOOR - MAJOR ADJUSTMENT" Repair Procedure.

Repair Procedure

This bulletin involves adjusting the side sliding door and on some models, installing a revised upper roller and lower bumper and bracket, and/or the
quiet mat door catch.

Quiet MAT Door Catch Replacement

NOTE: 

PERFORM THIS PORTION OF THE REPAIR PROCEDURE ONLY IF THE QUIET MAT DOOR CATCH IS DAMAGED OR MISSING.

1.

Open the sliding door.

2.

Support the bottom of the door near the lower roller bracket with a floor jack.

CAUTION: 

USE A PROTECTIVE MAT BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR AND THE FLOOR JACK SUPPORT PAD TO PREVENT DAMAGE
