10. Remove the motor link at the door latch.
11. Remove the screws that secure the motor mounting bracket to the door and remove the motor assembly.
12. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the motor mounting bracket screws to 10 Nm (90 in lb).
Dual Side/Rear Door
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the vented door window inside release lever handle, if equipped.
3. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide, flat-bladed tool, gently pry the trim panel away from the door around its perimeter.
4. Unplug the wire harness connector from the trim panel mounted courtesy lamp, if equipped.
5. Remove the door watershield.
Dual Side/Rear Door Lock Motor Remove/Install
6. Remove the connecting links at the lock motor and the latch.
7. Unplug the power lock motor wire harness connector.
8. Remove the screws that secure the lock motor and latch mounting bracket to the door and remove the motor and latch
9. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the motor mounting bracket screws to 10 Nm (90 in lb).
Sliding Side Or Single Rear Door
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the vented door window inside release lever handle, if equipped.
3. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide, flat-bladed tool, gently pry the trim panel away from the door around its perimeter.
4. Unplug the wire harness connector from the trim panel mounted courtesy lamp, if equipped.
5. Remove the door watershield.
