Front Door Hinge: Service and Repair

HINGE

REMOVAL

NOTE:  When removing a door hinge, do not discard shims (if equipped).

1. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, to mark outline of hinge on door and A-pillar for reference.
2. Support door with suitable lifting device.

3. Remove bolts attaching hinge to A-pillar (Fig. 18).

4. Remove bolts attaching hinge to door (Fig. 19).

INSTALLATION
