Center Mounted Brake Lamp Bulb: Service and Repair

Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Bulb Replacement 

REMOVAL

1. Remove the two screws holding the lamp assembly to the housing.
2. Pull the lamp straight out from the roof panel.
3. To remove a bulb socket, turn it counter-clockwise and pull out.

CHMSL Bulb Removal

4. Pull the bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION

1. Position bulb in socket and turn clockwise.
2. Position lamp on vehicle and install screws.
