Carefully bend the plastic cable conduit as shown in Figure 3. The conduit should be bent so that the cable routing assist, p/n 04891314AA, can be
snapped onto the cable conduit. Use pliers to install the cable routing assist onto the accelerator cable conduit near the dash panel (Figure 4). The
routing assist should force the cable to route toward the center of the engine compartment (Figure 3).

Route the accelerator cable in board of the engine oil dip-stick and insert the cable through the mounting hole on the cable mounting bracket
(Figure 2). Snap the cable into place ensuring the two pinch tabs are released.

Using large pliers, connect the cable end socket to the throttle lever pin ball stud.
CAUTION:
TAKE CARE TO NOT DAMAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL CABLE ATTACHMENT.

Install the cable/lever/throttle linkage cover onto the mounting bracket. Attach the cover with the two Phillips screws and the two push tabs
securing the push tabs with the retainer clips.
