Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Removal
Front Brake Rotor
REMOVAL- FRONT- 3500
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the hub extension mounting nuts and remove the extension from the rotor if equipped.
4. Remove the brake caliper adapter assembly.
5. Remove the rotor assembly.
Rear Brake Rotor
REMOVAL- REAR
1. Raise and support the vehicle
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the disc brake caliper.
4. Remove the caliper adapter bolts.
5. Remove the rear axle shaft from the housing on dual rear wheels.
6. Remove the hub and rotor assembly (C3500 only).
