FRONT SERVO - DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove seal ring from rod guide (Fig. 95).
2. Remove small snap-ring from servo piston rod. Then remove piston rod, spring and washer from piston.
3. Remove and discard servo component O-ring and seal rings.
CLEANING
Clean the servo piston components (Fig. 96) with solvent and dry them with compressed air.
INSPECTION
Inspect the servo components (Fig. 97). Replace the springs if collapsed, distorted or broken. Replace the guide, rod and piston if cracked, bent, or worn.
Discard the servo snap-ring if distorted or warped.
