This bulletin involves replacing the clutch disc with a revised part.

THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 5.9L CUMMINS HIGH OUTPUT TURBO DIESEL (SALES CODE ETH)
AND NV5600 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION (SALES CODE DEE) BUILT ON OR BEFORE MAY 11, 2003 (MDH 0511XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicle operator may describe a rattle sound when idling in neutral and the clutch pedal is released.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the sound is present1 depress the clutch pedal. If the sound is not present when the clutch pedal is depressed, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:

Replace the clutch disc (p/n 52107775AC). Refer to the service information available in TechCONNECT/MDS2 or the 2003 Ram Truck Service
Manual (Publication No. 81-370-03059) page 6-6.
