Remote Radio Switches - Installation
INSTALLATION
WARNING: Disable the airbag system before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, seat belt tensioner, side airbag or instrument
panel component diagnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery (ground) cable. Wait two minutes for the airbag
system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the airbag
system. Failure to follow these instructions may result in accidental airbag deployment and possible serious or fatal injury.
1. Install remote radio switch (1) to the steering wheel.
2. Connect the wire harness to the remote radio switch.
3. Install the speed control switches (2) See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Switch/Service and Repair/Speed Control Switch - Installation.
4. Install the driver airbag See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Driver Air Bag -
Installation.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.
