Intake Manifold: Removal and Replacement
Intake Manifold - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect both negative battery cables.
2. Disconnect the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) tube (4) from the EGR air flow control valve.
3. Remove the EGR crossover tube See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR Tube/Service and
Repair/Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Tube - Removal
4. Disconnect EGR air flow control valve harness connector.
5. Disconnect the EGR valve harness connector.
6. Disconnect the boost pressure sensor harness connector.
7. Remove bolt and nut securing oil dipstick tube.
8. Remove bolts (1) and the intake manifold (2).
