Quick Connect Installation Procedure

1.

Wipe the tube end which will be inserted into the quick connect with a clean rag.

2.

Check the tube surfaces for burrs. Remove burrs as necessary.

3.

Apply a coating of clean transmission fluid over the entire tube end surface up to the bead.

4.

Push the tube into the quick connect until the retainers seat and a click is heard. Pull back on the tube and quick connect to ensure that the quick
connect is locked in place. Do not rely only on the audible click to confirm that a secure connection has been made.

Caution: 

It is extremely important that cooler tube and quick connect seating be checked as described in step 4. If the tube and quick connect are not fully
secured, normal fluid pressure could eventually unseat the joint resulting in fluid loss, transmission damage and/or fire.

Completion Reporting and Reimbursement / Parts Return

Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service
completions and provide dealer payments.

Use one of the labor operation numbers and time allowances as shown.

Add the cost of the recall parts package plus applicable dealer allowance to your claim.

Vehicle Not Available

If a vehicle is not available for service for a known reason, let us know by filling out the pre-addressed Vehicle Disposition Form portion of the Owner
Notification Form or describe the reason on a postcard and mail to:
