Cut a 400 mm (15 in.) piece of foam tape, p/n 04318028, from the roll. Cut tape in half lengthwise to make two 13 mm (1/2 in.) by 400 mm (15
in.) pieces. install the foam tape to the inside of the deflector, leaving 6 mm (1/4 in.) on each side of the fastener holes as shown. (Fig. 1 ) Use the
second piece of foam for the other side of the bug deflector.

Install the bug deflector.
