Removal
REMOVAL
1. Raise the vehicle on a suitable hoist.
2. Remove the front propeller shaft. See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement
3. Disengage the wiring connectors from the shift motor and mode sensor.
4. Remove the bolts (1) holding the shift motor and mode sensor assembly (2) onto the transfer case.
5. Separate the shift motor and mode sensor assembly (1) from the transfer case.
