Axle Shaft Seals
AXLE SHAFT SEALS
REMOVAL
1. Remove hub bearings and axle shafts.
2. Remove differential from differential housing.
3. Remove differential bearing adjusters (Fig. 20).
4. Remove axle seals (Fig. 21) located behind adjusters with Receiver 8498 and Extractor 6310.
5. Install Receiver 8498 into the adjuster bore.
