REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear bumper See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal .
2. On Light Duty Vehicles , remove the hitch bolts (7)
3. On Heavy Duty Vehicles , remove the hitch bolts (8)
