Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
There is no longer a Filter Minder on the MY08 Diesel Engines. There will be an EVIC message which will display when the filter restriction reaches it's
maximum. The customer will be required to replace it with-in 250 miles (402 KM)
Filter Removal
1. The housing cover is equipped with spring clips and is hinged with plastic tabs. Unlatch clips from top of air cleaner housing and tilt housing cover
up for cover removal.
2. Remove air cleaner element from air cleaner housing (5).
