Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Removal

Front - HD

FRONT - HD

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

NOTE: Do not allow brake hose to support caliper adapter assembly.

3. Remove the caliper from the steering knuckle and remove caliper adapter assembly.
4. Remove the extension to the rotor nuts HD DRW ONLY.
5. Remove the rotor from the hub/bearing wheel studs.

Front - LD

FRONT - LD

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the caliper (1) with the adaptor bolts (5) from the steering knuckle (4) and remove caliper adapter assembly (1).

NOTE: Do not allow brake hose to support caliper adapter assembly (1).

4. Remove the rotor (2) from the hub/bearing (3).
