Power Door Lock Switch: Description and Operation
Lock Position
CIRCUIT OPERATION
When either door lock switch is put in the LOCK position, the switch connects voltage from circuit F35 to circuit P35. Circuit P35 provides the
LOCK input to the door lock module. After receiving the LOCK input, the door lock module supplies power to the door locks on circuit P33.
Circuit P33 connects to the left and right front door lock motors and circuit P30 is spliced in to provide power for the side and rear doors. Circuit
P30 connects to the side and rear door lock motors through contacts in each door.
In the LOCK position, ground for the door lock motors is on circuit P34, through the door lock module to ground on circuit Z1. Circuit P31 from
the side and rear door lock motors connects to circuit P34. Circuit P34 connects directly to the door lock motors in the right and left front doors.
