Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
DUAL CARGO DOOR LOCK CYLINDER REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel.
Power Door Latch - Right Cargo Door
2. Disconnect the lock cylinder latch rod at the door latch.
Key Lock Cylinder Removal/Installation
3. Remove the lock cylinder retainer and remove the lock cylinder from the door.
4. If being replaced, remove the lock cylinder latch rod from the original lock cylinder Attach it to the replacement lock cylinder.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the gasket and position the lock cylinder in the door hole. Retain the lock cylinder with the retainer clip.
2. Connect the lock cylinder latch rod to the door latch.
3. Test the door lock cylinder latch rod operation.
4. Install the door trim panel.
