Locate the Vehicle Certification Label, on the driver's door body pillar (B-post) as shown in the illustration.
2.
Clean the existing label by wiping it with a household cleaner to remove any oil or grease. Be sure the label is clean and dry.
3.
Peel the corrected tire/rim information label from its paper backing and install it on the Vehicle Certification Label covering the original tire/rim
information, as shown on the illustration. Firmly press and smooth the label to the surface to ensure proper attachment.

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Chrysler Corporation has determined that some 1996 Dodge Ram Vans and Wagons fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No.
120-Tire Selection and Rims.

The vehicle certification label on your Ram Van or Wagon (identified on the enclosed form), specifies an incorrect minimum tire/rim size. The size listed
on the label is smaller than the proper minimum size.

We ask that you apply the enclosed label so that it covers the original incorrect tire and rim information, as described a the end of this letter.
