Remove center console components (11) in order as shown.

Remove center reinforcement (15) as follows:
a.
Remove six center reinforcement attaching bolts (F and G).
b.
Disconnect radio and cassette player from front wiring harness and feed wire.
c.
Remove center reinforcement, radio and cassette player as an assembly.
7.
Remove steering wheel (17) as follows:
a.
Prior to removing steering wheel, make alignment marks on both steering shaft and steering wheel.
b.
Remove steering wheel retaining nut.
c.
Remove steering wheel using steering wheel puller tool No. DT-1001-A. Do not use hammer to remove steering wheel. The collapsible
mechanism may be damaged.

8.
Remove six instrument panel attaching nuts and bolts (H, I and J) then the instrument panel.
9.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a.
Ensure all connectors are securely connected and wiring harnesses are not pinched.
b.
Torque steering wheel retaining nut to 25-33 ft. lbs.
