Disconnect the grounding wire form the ignition timing connector and reinstall the waterproof connector.

Disconnect the tachometer.
11.
Start the engine and let it idle for about 5 minutes. Ensure that the vehicle idle is normal.
Fixed Idle Speed Adjusting Screw
FIXED SAS ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION: The Fixed SAS should not be adjusted. Precise adjustments and setting were performed by the manufacturer. If the adjustment has been
altered, readjust as follows.
1.
Loosen the accelerator cable.
2.
Loosen the Fixed SAS lock nut.
3.
Turn the Fixed SAS in (counterclockwise) until the throttle valve is completely closed.
4.
Turn the screw (clockwise) until it makes light contact with the throttle lever.
5.
Turn the screw 1 and 1/4 turn further (clockwise).
6.
While holding the Fixed SAS, so it doesn't move, tighten the lock nut securely.
7.
Adjust the tension of the accelerator cable.

Check and adjust the idle position switch and the throttle position sensor.

Recheck the CURB idle speed and adjust if necessary via the Standard Idle Speed Adjusting Screw.
