Verify the radio type from the photos on pages 5 and 6 and confirm that the radio is defective by performing the diagnostic routines as specified in
the vehicle service manual.

2.

Contact nearest Radio Exchange Center (list attached) to request an exchange radio upon confirmation that subject radio is defective.

3.

Give Exchange Center the pertinent information to ship an exchange radio such as radio model number and description, as well as dealer name,
address, zone, dealer code, in-service date, and vehicle identification number.

4.

Call Exchange Center by 3:00 PM to allow time for processing paperwork and to get the radio ready for shipment.

5.

Advise the customer that an exchange radio has been ordered and should be available the next day. Do not remove the defective radio until the
exchange radio has arrived.
