Installing Crankshaft, Intermediate Shaft, And Camshaft Seal
1. Shaft seal lip surface must be free of varnish, dirt or nicks. If needed polish sealing surface with #400 grit paper.
2. Install all seals on 2.2L and 2.5L engines, (except 2.5L crankcase), with factory tool (C-4680) or equivalent. The crankshaft seal on the 2.5L
engine must be installed using factory tool (C-4992) or equivalent.
