Lay the header seal in position along the windshield header and install as follows:
A.
Position the seal in the corners to insure a balance across the car.
B.
When installing the corners of the seal, locate the outer flaps upward on the inside of the seal.
C.
Insert the base of the header seal center extrusion into the retainer, working from the center in both outboard directions.
D.
Work around the corner to the A-pillar and down the door pinch weld to the bottom of the door opening. Cut the existing door opening seal at
the point where the new seal ends and join the two seals using the stuffer from the old header seal. Use 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (08011) to
join the ends of the two seals together.

Raise the top and latch it. Apply 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (08011) on the mating sides of the seal forward flange and header (Fig 6), allow to dry
until tacky (approx. 60 seconds). Keep the adhesive inside the outboard edge and inner flap. Secure the seal forward flange to the roof while
ensuring a consistent gap between the seal and the No. 1 bow.
