NOTE:
IF THE BOLTS ARE DIFFICULT TO INSTALL DUE TO INTERFERENCE WITH THE SIDE RAIL, LOOSEN THE MOUNTING PLATE BOLTS,
INSTALL THE SHOULDER BOLTS IN THE BUSHINGS AND THEN TIGHTEN THE MOUNTING PLATE BOLTS AND THEN ATTACH THE
MOUNTING PLATE TO THE NO. 1 BOW.

Position the control links on the side rails.

Install the control link washers and shoulder bolts attaching the control link to the side rails.

Position the side rail center links on the side rails.

Install the side rail center link washers and shoulder bolts attaching the center link to the side rails.

Install the No. 1 bow garnish molding by sliding it on the latch assembly.

Install the caps and screws anaching the No. 1 bow garnish molding.

Side Rail Weatherstrip Installation

Remove the release paper from the foam tape and position the side rail weatherstrip retainer on the side rail (Fig 13).

Install the side rail weatherstrip retainer nuts provided and the washers (in three places each). Leave fasteners finger-tight.

Loosely install one screw each in the forward ends of the rails, adjusting the front end of the retainer to the inboard side of the slot.

62.

Install the side rail seal to the retainer without adhesive at this time. Raise the top to the header and lock it down.

NOTE:
DO NOT INSTALL THE PUSH PIN IN THE SIDE RAIL SEAL AT THIS TIME.
