10. Disassemble parts as shown, inspect all wear surfaces, and if any part shows signs of excessive wear, replace pump.

ASSEMBLY
1. Clean all parts in a suitable solvent.
2. Lubricate new O-rings and seals with power steering fluid, then install.
3. Install thrust plate, shaft and rotor assembly, then the cam ring as shown.
4. Install vanes into rotor and lubricate all parts with power steering fluid.
5. Install and seat pressure plate using a suitable socket and thumb pressure.
6. Install pressure plate spring and end cover lubricated with power steering fluid, then the retaining ring.
7. Reassemble control valve, then install control valve and spring into housing.
8. Install reservoir components as shown.
TC-Series Vane Type
NOTE: A Type-3 power steering pump can be identified by the presence of a remote fluid reservoir. The power steering pump is not serviceable
except for the following items:
1. Power steering pump oil seals except for the pump shaft seal.
2. Power steering pump reservoirs and related components.
3. Power steering pump reservoir filler cap/dipstick.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove pump, pump mounting brackets and pump pulley.
