REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This repair involves replacement of the oil filter bracket gasket with a special gasket.
1.
Remove the oil filter and oil filter bracket as outlined in the appropriate service manual.
2.
Install the special oil filter bracket gasket, PN MD198554.
3.
Install the oil filter bracket, torque to 15 N-m (130 in.lbs.).
4.
Install oil filter.
5.
Fill to proper oil level and check for leaks.
