Adjust the weatherstrip retainer to align the seal parallel to the side glass while maintaining the best possible fit to the header seal and rear rail
joints. It is very critical to obtain a correct nesting effect of the overlapped portion of the side rail seal with the header seal. Put the top down and
tighten the weatherstrip retainer attaching nuts to 4.5 N-m (40 in.lbs.) torque (Fig. 14).

Mark the fore/aft location of the weatherstrips on the retainers to locate the new weatherstrips at installation. Remove the side rail weatherstrips
from the retainer and apply 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (08011) to the mating surfaces of the retainer and seal.

Install the side rail weatherstrip and push pin (Fig. 14) to the tab of the retainer at the forward end. Adjust it fore and aft for a flush fit to the header
seal and the rear rail seal.

If the door glass is low with respect to the side rail seal, adjust the door glass upstop.
