Trim the lower cover as shown in Figure 2.
NOTE:
DO NOT TRIM MORE THAN SHOWN IN FIGURE 2. REMOVAL OF AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL WILL
RESULT IN AN UNWANTED EXPOSURE OF THE TIMING BELT.
3.
Install the lower and upper camshaft timing belt covers.
4.
Tighten the cover screws and nuts to 40 in.lbs. (4 N-m) torque.
