THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO 2-DOOR "ES" AND "DUSTER" MODELS.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some vehicles may exhibit a condition where the forward edge of the lower door applique is loose and may show an excessive gap.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves relocating and installing a retaining rivet in the lower front door(s) applique retaining bracket.
1.
Open the affected door(s) to gain access to the lower door applique attaching rivets. Drill out the nine rivets with a 4 mm (5/32") drill. Refer to
Figure 1.
2.
Grasp the applique with both hands and carefully pull up (not out) to release the top of the applique from the groove in the metal retaining bracket
on the door.
