Air Injection Hose/Tube: Service and Repair
Air Injection System
Removal
1.
Disconnect air hose from aspirator valve inlet.
2.
Remove aspirator tube assembly from catalyst.
Installation
1.
Install aspirator tube, and tighten nut to 40 lb-ft (54 Nm).
2.
Install bracket screw and torque to 95 lb-in (11 Nm).
3.
Connect air hose to valve inlet and air cleaner.
