Front Door Panel: Service and Repair
ELECTRIC REGULATOR
1. Move glass to down position.
2. Disconnect negative battery cable.
3. Remove 1 screw at forward edge of switch plate.
4. Lift switch plate, and disconnect wiring at quick disconnect.
5. Unsnap and remove the mirror remote control bezel.
6. Remove 2 screws at mirror remote control, and slide inside handle bezel rearward to remove.
7. Remove 1 screw at forward upper corner.
8. Disengage clips used to fasten trim panel to door, flex panel at forward upper corner to disengage 2 additional clips, then remove trim panel.
9. Disconnect courtesy lamp connector.
10. Make sure watershield is installed properly to prevent water leaks.
11. Reverse above procedure for installation.
MANUAL REGULATOR
1. Move glass to down position.
2. Remove the regulator crank handle screw, and crank handle.
3. Unsnap and remove mirror remote control bezel.
4. Remove 2 screws at mirror remote control, and slide inside handle bezel rearward to remove.
5. Remove 1 screw at forward upper corner.
6. Disengage the 8 clips used to fasten trim panel to door, flex the panel at the forward upper corner to disengage 2 additional clips, then remove trim
panel.
7. Disconnect courtesy light connector.
8. Make sure watershield is installed properly to prevent water leaks.
9. Reverse above procedure for installation.
