Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

Release pressure from fuel system as previously described.
2.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
3.
Remove pressure regulator-to-fuel inlet chamber attaching screws. Place a clean towel around fuel inlet chamber to avoid fuel leakage.

Remove vacuum hose between pressure regulator and throttle body.
5.
Remove pressure regulator from throttle body, Fig. 4.
6.
Remove O-ring and seal from regulator.
7.
Reverse procedure to install, using new O-ring and seal. Torque pressure regulator attaching screws to 40 inch lbs.
