Front Door Handle: Service and Repair
Exterior Door Handle

1. Remove trim panel. Move glass to up position.
2. Remove the watershield as necessary.
3. Disconnect wiring harness at connector.
4. Disconnect clips on outside handle link at latch.
5. Disconnect key cylinder link at latch.
6. Remove outside handle retainer nuts and the retainer.
7. Remove handle assembly through outer panel handle opening.
8. Transfer lock cylinder, linkage, and linkage retainer clips to new outside handle and, using the reverse of this procedure, install the handle.
