4.   Install the right side lower spring clamp plate See torque specification chart.

NOTE: To avoid damaging the transverse leaf spring, cushion the pad on the jack accordingly.

5.   Install a jack stand on the outer edge of the spring to apply spring pressure in order to install the left side lower spring clamp plate.
6.   Install the left side lower spring clamp plate (2) See torque specification chart.
7.   Loosen the jack stand to remove the spring pressure.
8.   Install the left side lower control arm (3) See torque specification chart.

9.   Install the left side upper spring stop plate (1) See torque specification chart.

10.   Install the left side steering knuckle..
11.   Install the left side outer tie rod end and shield to the knuckle.
12.   Install the left side strut.
13.   Install the front wheels.
14.   Lower the vehicle.
15.   Tighten the nuts on the lower control arm to the frame to 172 Nm (127 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 90° turn.
16.   Apply brake to actuate brake pressure.
17.   Perform a front wheel alignment.

Removal

REMOVAL

1.   Raise and support the vehicle.
2.   Remove the bolts to the lower spring clamp plate (2).
3.   Remove the spring clamp plate (2) and rubber block.
