This bulletin describes the new crankshaft and center bolt design as well as the revised service procedures.

DISCUSSION:
The design of the crankshaft and center bolt was changed for OM647 engines in March 2006. The first engine built with the new design has the serial
number 51-186332. The new design features the following changes:
