The air needed for engine combustion is drawn in through the slots in the right front fender. This inlet is connected with a plastic hose (1) to the
lower part of the air filter housing.

The air flows through the horizontal air filter (15) from the bottom to the top. A sensor (16) in the upper part of the air filter housing measures the
air pressure.

The air leaves the filter housing through the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor (2), which measures both mass air flow and air temperature (Inlet Air
Temperature). The MAF is connected with a plastic hose (3) to the turbocharger (4), where the air is compressed.

After passing through the turbocharger, air is channeled through a resonator and a rubber hose (14) to the intercooler (12).

After passing through the intercooler, the air flows through a rubber hose (11) to a plastic tube (9), which contains a sensor for the temperature of
the boosted air (Intake Air Temperature) (10).
