Using the DRBIII(R), perform a "Vehicle Module Scan". Record any DTC's on the repair order and then erase the DTC's.

NOTE:

The DTC's in the table above may be related to the Intake Air Temperature sensor even though it is not part of the DTC description.

NOTE:

The DTC P2672 description refers to the Inlet Air Temperature sensor (MAF) and not the Ambient Air Temperature sensor (under license plate
holder).

Turn the ignition to the "Run" position (do not start the engine). Using the DRBIII(R) from the "Engine Menu", select "Sensor Display", verify
that the Intake Air Temperature is reading ambient temperature.

a.

If the Intake Air Temperature is not within +/- 5° C (+/- 10°F) of ambient temperature, proceed to Repair Procedure.

b.

If the Intake Air Temperature sensor is within +/- 5° (+/- 10°F) of ambient temperature, further diagnosis is necessary and this bulletin does
not apply.

Replace the Intake Air Temperature sensor as follows:

a.

Make sure the ignition switch is in the "Off" position.
